I feel really strange now. I wouldn't say in a bad way, but just strange. It was a brilliant film. It's definitely now one of my favourite films. It was heartbreakingly hilarious. I guess it left me feeling wistfulfor obvious reasons. I adored how the lead character always kept her optimism even in the most very, very serious of situations. I also liked the fact that is didn't end on an "everything is perfect" happy ending or a horridly sad ending. It ended on a light and enjoyable note but wasn't cloying or saccharine which I appreciated greatly. I'm bound to get a hold of the novel as soon as the holidays have past, I can't wait until then. I'm downloading the film's soundtrack as well, it had me humming and smiling throughout.
I want to thank Mariana [link] for introducing me to this beautiful film. I'll have it in the mail back to you as soon as possible, after I watch it a couple more times!
